The Comox Valley Women's Business Network is locally-based, non-profit organization focused on driving growth and connection in our community.
We strive to provide programming that helps our members and guests achieve their goals and find their version of success. We facilitate meaningful approaches to networking, embrace new ways of enriching our connections and raising awareness of our members. We embrace businesswomen of all ages, cultures, industries and professions.
We are mentors, sharing experiences, challenges and wisdom, collaborating within the network, and ultimately creating a greater business community.
Defining a Woman
In short, it is anyone that identifies as a woman on a consistent basis. Womanhood is no longer limited to biological or assigned sex but acknowledges the self-identification of individuals. It respects the intersections of gender with other aspects of identity, such as race, ethnicity, culture, sexuality, and more.
