Breast Thermography is an imaging procedure where infrared images of the breast are analyzed and rated to determine the risk of developing breast cancer. It is non-invasive and painless - no radiation or compression is used and is safe for all women, including those with implants. Thermography exams (beginning at age 25 or earlier) can provide a valuable baseline from which to measure future breast health and potential risk factors. This pro-active approach provides additional information to other forms of testing and is an early warning system which allows the best chance for preventative action against breast cancer!
