2019 Minerva Award

Terri Perrin (left) accepts the 2019 award from last year's recipient, Linda Graceffo.

The Minerva Award is presented annually to an individual who has been instrumental in the growth of the CVWBN, who has assisted others in the membership and is a well-respected member of the business community.

At the May Annual General Meeting, past recipient, Linda Graceffo, Sparkling Graphics, presented Terri Perrin with the award.  Here's what she had to say about why Terri was selected as this year's recipient:

The recipient we have chosen this year definitely meets the criteria and so much more! Here is a taste of what members who nominated her said:

“She goes above and beyond, is patient, kind and forward thinking.”

“She is always there both in the background and foreground to assist or just keep things going.”

“I am in awe of her commitment to the WBN and the community. She is a go-getter, has a big heart and loves to support not only women but our community at large.”

“She is always taking on extra tasks and projects within the CVWBN and is always thinking outside the box with respect to ideas to continue to help the association grow and excel. An example of this was organizing the Habitat for Humanity Women Build campaign during the time WBN had Habitat as their B.O.O.S.T. recipient. Terri has volunteered countless hours keeping the website up and running as a director for WBN. On top of that, she currently volunteers her time managing social media for the newly branded Comox Valley Volunteer Connector formally known as Volunteer Comox Valley.”

Your drive and passion for WBN and community support has not gone unrecognized.

Congratulations Terri Perrin, this year’s Minerva Award recipient!
