B.O.O.S.T. = Building Opportunities for Organizations using our Strengths and Talents.
In 2011 we introduced this program to our local community, to provide the opportunity for our members to support one registered non-profit organization each year.
Being that we are such a diverse group, we felt that not only could we monetarily assist, but we also have skills and talents that are not available to them on a regular basis that could be of assistance to further develop their purpose and fulfill their wish lists. They not only were in need of our support but also follow many of the same principles as we do.
We start each membership year off by announcing one B.O.O.S.T. recipient. At the end of our year, we donate half of the proceeds of our monthly 50/50 draws, along with other money collected from other events throughout the year.
Want to nominate your favourite non-profit to be our B.O.O.S.T. recipient next year? Click here to submit your nomination online.
