Here are the 3 venues we’ll be visiting during this tour:
Cumberland Brewing Company, Cumberland BC
The Cumberland Brewing Company has been operating for over 6 years. Founded by Darren Adam and Caroline Tymchuck, Cumberland Brewing Company offers a variety of delicious craft beers. There are an indoor tasting room and an outdoor covered patio. A flight of beers will allow you to taste a variety of their brews. You can also choose to have a local cider or kombucha.
Shelter Point Distillery, Oyster River
Shelter Point will take you on a behind-the-scenes look at their distillery process. We start inside the distillery going through the Shelter Point mashing, fermenting, and distilling. We then hop in our trusty “mules” and proceed to travel around the 400 acres property, showing you the whole farm. The tour then proceeds with a look at the legendary Shelter Point warehouse, where our staff will lead you through the different whiskies and barrels we have in storage. We will then finish the tour off with a tasting of their famous whiskies, gin, and vodka.
40 Knots Estate Winery
40 Knots Estate Winery where the forces of nature are at play! Located at the heart of the Comox Valley, this 24 acres property is where they proudly produce all of their wine, using 100% of the grapes grown right on the property. They have a wonderful tasting room, a lovely patio area overlooking the vineyard. Looking to taste our premium wines in a variety of styles? 40 Knots qualified crew will lead you through six of our premium wines starting with the French Traditional Method (bubbly!) and ending with their port-style wine. Hear about their biodynamic farming and enjoy in-depth discussions of how their wine is made naturally.
