Hello and Happy Holidays!
I hope you have your ticket for our Dec. 13th dinner Mix and Mingle.
If ever there was a meeting not to miss, this is the one! We have magnificent changes coming to the WBN in 2024 for a fresh new year to inspire, support, empower - and celebrate!
Our December Meet Up is the "sneak peek" and at this meeting you will have the opportunity to purchase tickets for a January meeting at our new 2024 venue. You can expect a scramble for these January tickets because being a member is going to be much more advantageous. Our first 50 tickets sold to WBN members will receive a little new year gift at the January Meet Up.
Have I got your attention yet, don’t miss this meeting, I’m excited to share with you our new vision. Ticket sales close December 5th.
Lastly, please remember to bring a “Handbag for Hope” to the December 13th meeting to be distributed to women from Darry’s Place our WBN B.O.O.S.T for this year.
November Meeting Highlights
Our November meeting generated such wonderful conversation - so many excellent ideas for how to better our membership were shared! Our Spotlight Speaker for November, Michele Henry, shared her wisdom on how to market with chocolate and cake. Did you know that the options are rather endless?! From customized chocolates & packaging, to catered meetings and staff thank you gifts, there are options to tailor your marketing to your brand with Hot Chocolate and Cake Bread Artisan Bakery. To top it all off, Michele shared some of the delicious Hot Chocolates chocolate and Cake Bread cakes with us!
Oceanside Women’s Business Network
At our November meeting, we were lucky enough to have two women from the Oceanside Women's Business Network come visit & network with us! Our WBN chapter has a reciprocal membership with the OWBN and our members are able to visit their chapter at their member price. 5 of our board members ventured down to Qualicum to partake in their November meeting, meeting new women in business, listening to their Wise Women panel and learning more about their chapter of the WBN. It was a great event!
