A Message from our President
Thank you to all that came out to our September Kickoff at Innisfree farms. It was great to reconnect and to hear from some of the WBN founding members about challenges women faced in the 90s and what brought about the inception of the WBN.
Join us for our next meeting on October 11th at our new location in the Florence Filberg Evergreen Lounge.
We welcome guests to attend two meetings to see if we are a fit before deciding to join as members. The Comox Valley Women's Business Network meetings feature inspirational speakers, business coaches, and innovative networking sessions.Come and check us out, build new relationships and see what other local women in business are doing.
I look forward to meeting new dynamic women in business and connecting further with our current members.
Mark your calendars, ticket sales close October 8th for the October 11th meeting!

"Who's going to speak for the girl in the mirror?
I consider myself a passionate, driven, career-oriented, workaholic, who when a career was unexpectedly swept away buried my grief rather than seeking support to help me discharge pent up trauma.
This confident, perfectionist was brought to her knees by unresolved loss and grief. Finally, with the clarity of a diagnosis, I'd known, it was time. I reached out, called out and prayed asking for help. I finally realized I needed support. I've surrendered to my imperfection and am getting comfortable in my own skin.
Now, on the road to wellbeing, I'm speaking up about my story in the hope that others who may be struggling in silence, will feel more confident to participate in transparent conversations about their health & wellness; or lack of, and prioritize seeking needed supports we all deserve, require, and are worthy of receiving.
