With over a decade of experience working in the non-profit sector ranging from national and grassroots charities to public and private post-secondary institutions to health care. In the areas of community development, volunteer engagement, campaign creation, fund and business development, donor stewardship, event planning, and grant writing. In management, contract, and coordinator roles. Carrera has a wealth of knowledge and experience.
Carrera is an avid learner. She believes that there is always something new to learn and room for growth. She holds a Bachelor of Management from UBC and a Diploma in Public Relations from UVIC and is always looking for opportunities to continue learning.
Beyond work, she loves spending time outdoors exploring with her husband and pups. Whether it be riding bikes on the road or in the mountains, swimming in open water, or walking on the beach or in the forest.
