As Portfolio Manager, Investment Advisor at The Morson Carson Wealth Counsel at Richardson Wealth, Susan brings a unique energy and instinct to wealth planning, helping clients align their values and goals, needs and wants, and translating those into an actionable financial plan.
Susan specializes in wealth planning for professional & retired women and their families. She focuses on financial planning and tax strategies as well as investments to help her clients achieve their dreams and goals. For 25+ years, she’s worked successfully with many female clients to understand their values, needs, and wants through deep listening and strategic planning.
From your first contact with Susan, you will sense the difference in her approach to serving clients’ wealth management needs. Having a broad scope of life experiences herself - from marriage, divorce, widowhood, step-parenting and grandparenting – Susan has great empathy and understanding of where other women are on their life path.
Susan is committed to lifelong learning and has completed a significant number of financial licenses and designations – primarily focused on financial planning with her Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Certified International Wealth Manager (CIWM) and Real Wealth Management (RWM) designations.
Susan and her life and business partner, Rick Morson, are proud to call the Comox Valley home and passionately contribute, both personally and professionally, to this remarkable Valley. Susan serves as a Comox Valley Chamber of Commerce Board Member. They also generously support many community groups such as the Comox Valley Transition Society, Courtenay Elementary School Society, the Foundry Comox Valley, North Island College Foundation, Project Watershed and others.
Susan enjoys spending time with family and friends, travelling, cycling, cross-country skiing, cooking, and entertaining with Rick. As an avid reader of biographies and cookbooks, her current fascination is developing new variations in taste and texture on her charcuterie boards.
