Tara Anderson, the dedicated owner of Budget Blinds for the past 14 years, Budget Blinds of Comox Valley/Campbell River, Budget Blinds of Nanaimo, and Budget Blinds of Cowichan Valley, has been at the helm of these three Island franchises for an impressive 8 years. Her commitment to providing the largest selection of custom window coverings in Canada has solidified Budget Blinds as a local small business powerhouse in the industry.

Having previously owned three franchises on the mainland, Tara made the decision to sell and relocate her family to Vancouver Island, where she has since become an integral part of the island's business community. With a passion for enhancing homes through top-notch window treatments, Tara and her team proudly offer a diverse range of products, including blinds, shades, shutters, window film, drapery, and home automation solutions.

Beyond her dedication to the business, Tara is a proud supporter of numerous charities in the Comox Valley and local communities, embodying a spirit of giving back. Actively involved in Rotary, she exemplifies the importance of community engagement and volunteerism. As a fiercely proud and supportive mom of her four teenage daughters, Tara finds joy in spending quality time on the sidelines of their sporting events, time with her family, traveling and exploring the picturesque landscapes of Vancouver Island, and actively sponsoring and supporting her kids' sports teams, which include hockey and soccer.

Employing a team of over 15 employees, Budget Blinds under Tara's leadership continues to thrive, providing excellent service to customers in the region. The business boasts two conveniently located showrooms—one in Courtenay and another in Ladysmith—where customers can experience the extensive range of window covering options firsthand.

With a combination of business acumen, community involvement, and a genuine passion for family and quality service, Tara Anderson stands as a respected figure in the window coverings industry on Vancouver Island.
